Former Philipsburg-Osceola kicker Zach Czap picked up a pair of honors as a result of last weekend’s performance with the Lycoming football team.
Czap kicked three field goals including a 33-yarder with 2:22 left to help engineer a 16-14 upset of No. 24 Widener.
He also kicked field goals of 44 and 31 yards in the game, tying a school record. They were his first field goal attempts of the season. He also added a PAT in the game for the Warriors, who are 3-1. The performance earned him the Mid Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week award and also the Beyond Sport Network Player of the Week award, which is a national honor.
Czap averages 38.9 yards on 22 punts and 53.1 yards on 11 kickoffs.
Colton Myers (State College, Juniata) has 11 receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown. He also has one tackle.

Bernard Smack (State College, Lock Haven) has caught five passes for 45 yards and returned eight kickoffs for an average of 15.5 yards. Lock Haven is 2-2.
Sam Rodgers (State College, Syracuse) continues to start as the long snapper for the Orangemen (2-2).
Alec McLaughlin (State College, Naval Academy Sprint Team) has two interceptions and two tackles.

Megan Flick (Bald Eagle Area, Lock Haven) was named the Lock Haven Female Athlete of the Week after recording 56 kills in four matches in the Lock Haven Classic over the weekend. She has 143 kills for the season to go along with nine assists, 18 aces, 123 digs and 32 blocks.
Kendra Fetzer (BEA, Lock Haven) has recorded 48 kills, 42 assists, 13 aces, 61 digs and 16 blocks.
Suzanne Horner (State College, Miss. State) has 37 kills, 631 assists, 21 aces, 109 digs and 21 blocks. Mississippi State is 9-7.

Brian Charles (State College, Goshen College) and a partner combined to shoot a two-under 70 in the Ken Venturi Invitational on the Zoeller Golf Course at Trine University in Angola, Ind. They played in a 6-6-6 format in which the first six holes were a two-person scramble, the second six was better ball of partners and the third six was alternate shots.
