For the second time this season, Philipsburg-Osceola graduate Zach Czap has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference football Special Teams Player of the Week.
Czap earned the honor after giving Lycoming a 20-17 overtime win over Albright on Saturday. Czap kicked a game-tying 35-yard field goal with 18 seconds left, then kicked a 29-yard field goal for the win. He also kicked both extra points and placed three of his six punts inside the 20 yard-line. He averaged 36.2 yards per punt.
On the season, Czap has made 5 of 7 field goals and 16 of 19 extra points for 31 points. He has averaged 38.4 yards on 36 punts and 53 yards on 13 kickoffs.
Lycoming is now 5-2.
