After sitting out last year with an injury, Lauren Hester has shown no effects from the layoff with the Indiana, Pa., women’s volleyball team.
Hester, a State College graduate and redshirt-junior outside hitter, has played in every set for the Lady Red Hawks and leads the team in kills (155) and aces (27), and ranks second in digs (192). She also has 13 blocks and four assists. IUP is currently 6-10.
Shane Dorner (State College, Lafayette) has four solo tackles and three assists, two tackles for loss for minus-8 yards, one sack for minus-6 yards and two quarterback hurries. Lafayette is 2-3.

Nora Adams (State College, Bucknell) ran a 22:46 to place 48th at the Paul Short as the Bucknell women won the team crown.
Kyle Adams (State College, Bucknell) had a time of 26:50 to place 147th at the Paul Short Run, where the Bucknell men placed 11th.
