Edinboro and Bellefonte graduate Mitchell Port continue to set records in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference this year.
Over the weekend the Fighting Scots won their ninth PSAC team title in the past 10 years. They also became the first team to crown nine champions in the tournament, taking the first nine weight classes and winning 35 of their 36 bouts.
Port, ranked second in the country at 141 pounds, became one of three four-time PSAC titlists for the Scots as he posted a pair of falls and a major decision to raise his record to 13-0.
Also winning their fourth PSAC titles were former Tyrone standout AJ Schopp at 133, where he’s ranked No. 1 in the country, and David Habat at 149.
