Taylor Parsons is the new career doubles leader for the St. Francis softball program.
Parsons, a redshirt senior from Bald Eagle Area, broke the record in the first game of a doubleheader against Maryland last week, helping the Red Flash to a sweep of the Terrapins.
Parsons hit three more doubles during the week and now has 41 for her career. She is hitting .333, second on the team, and has 13 runs, 24 hits, nine doubles, four triples and 12 RBIs.
St. Francis is now 17-5. It had its 10-game winning streak snapped with a 6-1 loss to Kent State in the Liberty Classic in Lynchburg, Va., on Sunday.
