Philipsburg-Osceola graduate Kurt Walker played a part in a historic Shippensburg University football victory Saturday, when the Raiders topped East Stroudsburg 67-65 in five overtimes. It was the longest game in Shippensburg history.
Walker, a co-captain, had a solo tackle and two assists in the game. For the season the senior has 10 tackles, five of them solo, 3 1/2 tackles for loss for minus-16 yards, 2 1/2 sacks for minus-13 yards, one pass breakup, one pass defended and one quarterback hurry.
State College’s John Weakland is also a member of the Shippensburg team.
With the win over East Stroudsburg, the Raiders are now 3-2.
