Penn State’s Charles Huntzinger took first at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, finishing 13-under after the third round Sunday to win by two strokes.
Huntzinger recorded a 3-under 69 in the final round and beat Furman’s Bryce Howell, Virginia’s Thomas Walsh and East Tennessee State’s Mateusz Gradecki, who all tied for second at 11-under.
The Nittany Lions (even-par) finished eighth in the 15-team tournament. Virginia took first at 35-under, beating runner-up Missouri (22-under).
The tournament marked the end of Penn State’s fall season.
