Newspapers give daring sports writers nowhere to hide from awful predictions.
Back when I worked at the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, some readers sent back wrong football predictions. I kept a few on my fridge as reminders why I shouldn't become a bookie.
We're ready to prove the Internet is different. You can make predictions, be wrong on some big ones and delete the post as soon as a game ends.
OK, we're too honest for that. But I'm sure there has been a blogger or two who has erased the painful past.
Never miss a local story.
Anyway, here's Guy Talk's first attempt at making sports predictions. This is how we think this weekend's Virginia Duals, which begin at 9 a.m. tomorrow, will shake out.
Feel free to print this post and send it back when the first upset happens.
