Penn State had more shots and penalty corners than Indiana, but the Hoosiers eked out a 1-0 win over the Nittany Lions on Sunday.
Penn State totaled 17 shots and six penalty corners, while Indiana recorded 12 and four, respectively.
However, Indiana’s Sydney Supica recorded the only stat that matters: a goal.
Assisted by Kate Barber, the senior scored her first goal of the season on a penalty corner at the end of the first half with no time remaining.
Never miss a local story.
This is the first time the Hoosiers defeated Penn State since 2009.
In a game televised on BTN, the Nittany Lions will host Iowa on Friday for Senior Day.
