Penn State won its first home event of the season, sweeping the women’s foil and epee events while coming close to doing the same in sabre.
Junior Desree Ortega-Furgeson finished first in the women’s foil. Sophomores Kasey Iverson and Najiyyah Clark placed second and third, respectively.
Junior captain Jessie Radanovich defeated senior Jessica O’Neill-Lyublinsky, 15-14, in women’s epee. O’Neill-Lyublinsky finished second in the event, while freshman Anastasia Kalonji came in third.
Penn State also secured top placement in the sabre event, as Kathryn Charpin and Teodora Kakhiani were second and third, respectively.
