Penn State picked up its 10th recruit in the 2014 class when Noah Beh committed to the Nittany Lions on Saturday.
Beh, a two-way lineman from Scranton, announced his decision to attend Penn State at the Nittany Lions’ Advanced Skills Camp.
The Scranton Prep player is the first offensive lineman recruit to join the latest class and is the 10th overall.
Listed at 6-foot-5, 245, Beh is rated as a three-star recruit by Lions247.com and is considered a three-star recruit for Rivals.com.
In his junior season, Beh and the helped lead the Cavaliers to an 11-1 record and a berth in the Eastern Conference Class AAA championship. According to the Scranton Times Tribune, Beh finished his latest season with 70 tackles (32 solo) and 10 sacks.
“I feel really good about it,” Beh told the Times Tribune. “I have been looking at the big picture and every little thing about each school that recruited me. I just think Penn State is the right school for me.
“With Penn State only having a few scholarships to offer, it’s a great honor to have gotten one and being from Pennsylvania, this is important to me.”
According to Lions247.com, Beh had offers from Maryland, Boston College, Colgate and Connecticut.
