Penn State’s football game at Minnesota on Nov. 9 will kick off at noon and be shown on ESPN2.
The time was announced Monday by Penn State. The game, the first between the programs since 2010, will be played at the Golden Gophers’ new home, TCF Bank Stadium.
Minnesota (6-2) is coming off a 34-23 upset of No. 24 Nebraska last weekend and visits Indiana this week. Penn State (4-3) lost to No. 4 Ohio State 63-14 on Saturday.
The start times for the three remaining games on the Nittany Lions’ schedule have not yet been announced. Those times, along with television information, will be decided upon within the Big Ten’s six- or 12-day selection process.
Every Penn State football game over the past decade has been shown on TV.
Penn State hosts Illinois at noon Saturday at Beaver Stadium. Tickets remain for the final three home games this season against the Illini, Purdue (Nov. 16) and Nebraska (Nov. 23).
