Seniors Glenn Carson and John Urschel have accepted invitations to play in the East-West Shrine game in order to showcase their skills for NFL scouts.
The longest-running all-star game in the country, the East-West Shrine game will be played in St. Petersburg, Fla. on Jan. 18.
Carson and Urschel were elected co-captains before Penn State’s season finale against Wisconsin.
Carson led the team in tackles with 90 and finished with one sack and four tackles for loss. Urschel was a part of Penn State’s offensive line that helped pave the way for 2,088 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns.

Carson is ranked as the No. 11 linebacker eligible for the NFL Draft by CBSSports.com. Urschel is currently ranked the No. 12 offensive guard by the same website.
