Penn State men’s hockey season ticket holders will have their first crack on Monday at tickets for the NHL exhibition game scheduled for Pegula Ice Arena.
The arena will host the Buffalo Sabres and Minnesota Wild on Sept. 26. Season ticket holders will have the right of first refusal to tickets for the NHL game from Monday until July 29. Tickets also will be available at that time for the Nittany Lions’ exhibition game against Queen’s College of Ontario, Canada, set for Oct. 2.
Season ticket holders and Nittany Lion Club members will have the chance to buy regular-season, single-game tickets from Aug. 4-8. Single-game tickets will be available to the general public starting Aug. 9.
Student season tickets will go on sale Sept. 8. The student season package does not include games against Arizona State (Nov. 18-19) and Wisconsin (March 3-4) because of university breaks. If students wish to attend either series not part of the season package, they may be purchased along with the general public on Aug. 9.
Never miss a local story.
Penn State saw 95 percent of season tickets renewed this year. The regular-season slate opens Oct. 6 against St. Lawrence.
