The Penn State women’s soccer team added freshmen Grace Fisk and Laura Freigang to its roster, the program announced in a press release Thursday.
“Not only are they both top-notch international student-athletes, but they are also wonderful personalities that will add another dimension to our program,” Nittany Lions coach Erica Dambach said in the release. “Their experiences with their respective national teams will help them to step in and make an immediate contribution to our program.”
Fisk, a defender from London, England, has played for England’s national teams throughout her career. She was the captain of England’s U-19 team in a 1-0 win over the United States in July.
Freigang, a midfielder/forward, has played for Germany’s national teams from U-15-17 and U-19-20.
