closePenn State landed a big target for its future quarterbacks Thursday when Adrian Coxson, a wide receiver from Baltimore, formally announced his commitment via video blog on DigitalSports.com.
The 6-foot-2, 194-pound junior from Baltimore City College caught 40 passes for 987 yards and 12 touchdowns this past season. Coxson chose the Nittany Lions over Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Notre Dame and Michigan, among others.
Penn State now has three commitments in the Class of 2010 — Coxson, Canonsburg linebacker Mike Hull and McKees Rocks quarterback Paul Jones, who re-affirmed his commitment last weekend after deciding to re-open his search earlier last month.
