Nittany Lions in 14th place in women's golf

CARMEL, Ind. — Penn State shot a two-round score of 640 Monday to end the first day of the Indiana Inviational in 14th place out of 15 teams.

Senior Christin Pacacha shot a 3-over 75 in the first round and leads the Nittany Lions with a two-round score of 11-over, 155. Pachaca is tied for 42nd place. Katherine Murphy is tied for 58th place at 160 while Brianna Malcolmson is tied for 64th place at 162.

The Nittany Lions are nine strokes behind 13th-place Illinois State. Purdue leads the tournament with a score of 15-pounder par 561.
