UNIVERSITY PARK — The Big Ten Network will nationally televise Penn State's Senior Day clash with Indiana at noon on Nov 14.
The game with the Hoosiers is Penn State’s 11th announced TV appearance of the season as Saturday’s clash with No. 15 Ohio State will kick at 3:30 p.m. and be regionally televised by ABC, with ESPN2 airing the game outside the ABC coverage area.
The Indiana game will be Penn State’s fourth appearance on the Big Ten Network this season. The Nittany Lions also have played four times on ABC/ESPN, once on ESPN and once on ESPN Classic.
Penn State leads the series with Indiana, 12-0. The Nittany Lions won 34-7 in last year’s meeting.
The Nittany Lions have appeared on television in 186 of their last 188 games. Future Penn State contests may be selected by the networks under the six and 12- day provisions of their contracts with the Big Ten. The kick time and TV network for the Nov. 21 season finale at Michigan State will likely be announced Nov. 9.

PSU senior second at Renaissance
FORT MYERS, Fla. — Penn State senior Kevin Foley tied his career-best score after shooting a 65 in the final round to finish second at the Renaissance Invitational on Monday.
Foley finished two strokes behind Indiana’s Alex Marting as the Nittany Lions rallied to card a 276 in Monday’s final round to finish second behind the Hoosiers in the team race.
Foley’s three-round total of 202 tied for third-best on Penn State’s men’s golf 54-hole tournament record with Matt Abbott who hit the score in 1998.
Penn State’s Ernesto Marin finished in ninth place for the Lions after shooting a three-round 210, whille Mathew Porter finished at 215; Tommy McDonagh finished tied for 27th place at 216 and former Philipsburg-Osceola standoutT.J. Howefinished with a three-round 219.

Hodge earns Big Ten honor
UNIVERSITY PARK — Senior Megan Hodge earned her second conference honor of the season after being named Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday, conference officials announced.
The honor is the seventh of Hodge’s career after she guided the Nittany Lions to a pair of 3-0 sweeps over Big Ten opponents last week, including a win over nationally-ranked Minnesota. Against the Ohio State last Wednesday, Hodge totaled 16 kills, one ace, two blocks and 11 digs for her ninth double-double of the season. On Friday, the outside hitter led all players with 19 kills for a .429 attack percentage. In addition, she registered one ace, one assist, two blocks and five digs. For the week, she averaged 5.8 kills per set with a .424 hitting percentage.

Lions’ trio honored
UNIVERSITY PARK — The awards keep piling up for the No. 25-ranked Nittany Lions after another successful weekend in Big Ten play.

announced on Monday, as well as being named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. Christine Nairn was tabbed Big Ten Freshman of the Week and Alyssa Naeher was honored as the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for their performances against Indiana and Purdue, the conference also announced on Monday.
Toney led the Nittany Lions to two straight wins, extending their eight-game unbeaten streak and keeping them atop the Big Ten standings in a tie for first with Ohio State.
Naeher allowed just one goal in net for the Nittany Lions last week, while making four saves in wins over Indiana and Purdue. She lowered her overall mark this season to a 0.88 goals-against average and upped her save percentage to .832 and owns an 11-5-2 mark this season.
Nairn was honored for her game-winning goal against Indiana on Thursday night and her three-assist performance against Purdue on Sunday. Nairn leads the conference with nine assists and her three against Purdue were the most by a Nittany Lion in two seasons.
