UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State's Megan Hodge has been named ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District II, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced.
Hodge is one of seven student-athletes named to the first team in Distrcit II and is now eligible for ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors. She was named second-team All-American last season.

PARK RIDGE, Ill. — Following the program's first Big Ten victory, Penn State was well-represented in the conference’s postseason awards, headlined by individual conference champion Bridget Franek as the Big Ten Athlete of the Year.
Head coach Beth Alford-Sullivan was awarded Women’s Coach of the Year, while Nicole Lord was declared Freshman of the Year.
Franek is the second Nittany Lion to win the top individual award, joining 1996 Big Ten champion Kim McGreevy.
Also,Vince McNally and Claire Berryman each won the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
