State College turned in an impressive spread, sending six runners into the Top 10 on its home course in a 25-32 win over Cumberland Valley on Tuesday at Circleville Park.
Mady Clahane was first for Cumberland Valley, but Emma Cousins, Larissa Burka, Natasha Fedkina, Victoria Scutti, Hannah Catalano and Catherine Curtin all notched Top-10 finishes for the Lady Little Lions. Cousins was third with a time of 20 minutes, 17 seconds while Burka was fourth with 20:18 and Fedkina rounded out the Top 5 in 20:34.
“Our spread it was incredibly tight with 34 seconds between first and fifth,” State College coach Rebecca Donaghue said. “The girls competed really well and pushed through a lot of fatigue since they had raced really hard on Saturday at the PIAA Foundation Meet.”
