Jordan Misher scores on a 19-yard run to extend State College's lead with 7:14 left in the half. Spring-Ford responds and gets on the board with a 20-yard pass with 4:44 left in half. Spring-Ford takes the lead after taking advantage of a Little Lions' interception. John Weakland's 12-yard pass to Carson Bauer puts State College ahead with 47 seconds left in the half. Little Lions block last second field goal to hold three-point lead at half.
Spring-Ford strikes with the first play of the second half with an 80-yard touchdown pass as Little Lions block extra point. Little Lions quickly respond with Misher rumbling for a 19-yard score with 9:38 remaining in the third.
Cramer hits a 27-yard field goal to put State College ahead by a touchdown. Misher scores his third of the game from 32 yards out to give the Little Lions a two-score lead.

Juniata 29, at Penns Valley 16 (F): Juniata scores first with a 65-yard pass.
Juniata gets a 28-yard score from Chantz Swartz to jump out to a score lead with 4:15 left in half.
Wyatt Sharp gets the Rams on the board early in the second half with a 29-yard run.
Juniata scores 42 seconds into the fourth quarter to extend to a two-score lead. Swartz rumbles to a 72-yard score and his second of the game with 3:08 left in the game. Rams' Ben Alexander throws a touchdown pass with 16 seconds left in game as Penns Valley drops its season opener.

West Branch 30, at Philipsburg-Osceola 28 (F): Clayton Coble scores from 13 yards out to put West Branch ahead first. Warriors fail two-point conversion. Mounties attempted to kick a field goal and West Branch blocks it.
Warriors quarterback Walker Williams scores on a 17-yard to give West Branch a two score advantage. Kris Smeal scores a rushing touchdown to extends West Branch's lead and missed its third two-point conversion. Mounties get on the board with a 10-yard scamper from Ty Laird with 5:54 left in the half.
Smeal scores his second touchdown of the game from five-yards out as West Branch goes out to a three-score lead. Tanner Lamb connects with Caleb Belinda for a score as the Mounties get within 10 with 11:14 left in the game. Smeal picks up his third score of the game with this one being 19 yards out. P-O's Jake Anderson connects with Lamb for a score with 1:34 remaining in the game.
At Jersey Shore 31, Bellefonte 7 (F): Red Raiders down by three field goals at the half.
Bellefonte gets to within two with a touchdown midway through the third quarter.
Jersey Shore too much for Red Raiders in opener.
