One day after tying Huntingdon in double overtime, Penns Valley suffered a 2-1 loss to Moshannon Valley on Thursday.
“The girls definitely showed the 100 minutes they played the night before,” Penns Valley coach Jeff Smucker said. “They looked tired but fought well. Cheyenne Swartz had a really nice game for us in the middle.”
Moshannon Valley’s Autumn Adams found the back of the net to put her team ahead 1-0 at the 49:12 mark. Wynter Adams gave the Damsels a 2-0 lead.
Valerie Kubalak scored Penns Valley’s lone goal.
