Bellefonte was unable to overcome Mifflinburg, falling 49-45 in overtime Tuesday.
Despite being ahead by nine points going into the fourth quarter, an explosive performance by Mifflinburg’s Kayla Kline, who finished with 25 points, brought the game into overtime.
“We held Kline to four points in the first half, but she managed to score 21 in the second,” Bellefonte coach Adam Gearhart said.
Jess Book and Ally Steen led Bellefonte (1-7) with 19 and 11 points, respectively.
Lady Red Raider Lexi Wetzler was named to the all-tournament team. She finished the tournament with eight points.
Bellefonte will host Williamsport on Monday.
