State College and Saint Joesph’s Catholic Academy finished the Kevin Dare invitational at Penn State with several standout finishes on Saturday.
Natasha Fedinka and Veronika Karpenko led the way for State College. Fedinka finished second in the 800-meter run and was part of the winning 4x800 team that also included Larissa Burka, Julia Neely and Ellie Mhando in 10:01.8. Karpenko placed fourth in both the triple and long jumps.
Lady Little Lion Megan Fry was the team’s only individual winner after she cleared a 11 feet, 6 inches in the pole vault, a season-best for the senior.
Saint Joseph’s received a 10th-place finish from Grace Cousins in the 3,000 meter. Jordan Wisner and Kate Ott placed 18th and 24th, respectively, in the mile.
