The junior running back from King & Low-Heywood Thomas School in Stamford, Conn., committed to Joe Paterno early Sunday morning, bringing the Nittany Lions’ Class of 2010 to four.
The 5-10, 190-pounder ran for more than 1,300 yards and 15 touchdowns in eight games this past season. Redd, who also had offers from Connecticut, Rutgers, Stanford, Oregon and Virginia, was recruitedby Kermit Buggs.
