closeThe first three games of Penn State's 2009 football season, all in Beaver Stadium, will kick off at noon and be televised by the Big Ten Network.
The Nittany Lions will open their season on Sept. 5 against Akron. They will host Syracuse the following week and Temple on Sept. 19.
Penn State’s conference opener with Iowa is Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. in Beaver Stadium and will be televised on ABC or ESPN. Two other kickoff times — the Oct. 17 home date against Minnesota at 3:30 p.m. on ABC/ESPN and the Oct. 31 road game at Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN or ESPN2 — have previously been announced.
The Big Ten Network, entering its third football season, will televise at least one Penn State conference game this fall.
