Tyler Hallgave State College the lead with an RBI single in the second and Plascin broke it open in the fourth after a bunt single, walk and hit batter.

UTICA, N.Y. — State College won its first two games of the Blue-Gold Tournament on Friday, blanking Binghamton, N.Y., 6-0 in Game 1 before coming back with a 7-4 victory over New Hartford, N.Y.
Matt Godwinpicked up the win on the mound for State College (15-4) against Binghamton asScott Glassdoubled and had a home run and Ryan Blaschakadded a double.
Blaschak picked up the pitching win against New Hartford asBen Salladehad three singles for State College.
Bandits fall in tourney
MANSFIELD — Matt Woodworth had two singles and Brian Erzay added a double and single as Elmira plated 13 runs in its final two at-bats in a 14-4 five-inning victory over Bellefonte on Friday at the Joel Stephens Invitational.
Matt Watsonhad a double andFrank Parkesled off the fourth inning with a home run for Bellefonte, which was limited to four hits.Cole McClarrentook the loss.
The Bandits (15-11) meet Jersey Shore at 2:30 p.m. and Corning, N.Y. at 6 p.m. in the tournament today.
