AMERICAN LEGION State College continues roll

POTTER TWP. — Scott Glass and Mike Krider had three hits each as State College smacked 16 hits in a 10-1 rout of Pleasant Gap in American Legion baseball play Wednesday.
Leading 2-0, State College blew the game open with a five-run second inning. Glass andAustin Mock each smacked two-run doubles in the outburst.
Matt Frey and Trey Nicosia each had two hits for State College (19-6). Matt Godwin earned the win.
Robbie Hohn and Brad Grieb each had two singles for Pleasant Gap.
Bellefonte 11, Clarence 1 (5)
BELLEFONTE — Matt Watson tossed a three-hitter and ended the game with a solo home run with no outs in the fifth inning as Bellefonte crushed Clarence. Watson had three strikeouts and one walk in the triumph.
Leading 3-1, Bellefonte erupted for seven runs in the third. Eric Regel had an RBI double, while Jordan Schainholz and Josh Wensel added RBI singles in the outburst.
