Sixteen local artists who are members of The Art Alliance have works on display as part of “The Mind’s Eye,” an exhibition of 48 contemporary works, including “Canto I” and “Canto II” by Susan Parsonage. Works include paintings, drawings, photographs, prints and collages focusing on interior abstract spaces.

The New Broad River Band will bring its unique stylings from a broad spectrum of Americana, bluegrass and other musical genres to the city of Lock Haven’s 2015 Summer Concert Series. The band is fronted by Clyde Canton (David Pinelli) and features Julian Pinelli on fiddle and Judo Aaron Allison on banjo, along with Miss Monique (Pinelli) on upright bass.

The Milesburg Museum and Historical Society will host Ken Smith for a demonstration of the historic craft of tinsmithing. Smith will exhibit tinsmithing tools and demonstrate the techniques for crafting kitchenware and small household items that were in common use in the early 1800s.

Enter Piggsylvania’s courtroom in the Millbrook Playhouse’s Children’s Theater production of the family musical “The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs.” Based on the book of the same name by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, the musicial follows the Big Bad Wolf’s trial for the murder of the little pigs. The cast includes Brooke Reese as Magill, Aaron Kelley as Alexander T. Wolf and Elizabeth Schaffer as Julia.
