The history of a former iron furnace community will be showcased at the Old Home Days Heritage Festival. Featuring living history presentations, demonstrations and musical programs, the event invites visitors to participate in activities including the cake walk.

Into the Spin will perform favorite classic and comtemporary pop, rock and soul songs as part of the Lock Haven Summer Concert Series. Into the Spin was formed in 2009 by multi-platinum recording artist Jeremy Hummel, who plays drums in the band.

Iconic songs from The Man in Black take the stage in Millbrook Playhouse’s “Ring of Fire — the Music of Johnny Cash.” The musical features a company of performers that guide the audience through Cash’s storied life and celebrated music. Directed by Anthony D’Amato, the cast includes Patrick Henkel, Steven Makropoulos, Nick Orfanella, Morissa Trunzo and Zack Zaromatidis.

Cycling enthusiasts will have opportunities to watch and participate during the two day, three race Nittany Stage Race. Day two will feature a time trial through Penn State campus and downtown State College. Local residents will be able to race the time trial as an open event and a family fun ride will let community members use the closed-course at 5 p.m.
