More than a dozen fiber vendors will take part in the Millheim Fiber Festival. The second annual event also features a sit and kit location, spinning demonstrations and other events for those working on their own projects or shopping for gifts.

Fifteen artists will display landscapes, sea scapes, garden and country scapes in the new “Scapes” exhibit at Foxdale Gallery. Exhibited artists are members of the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania and works include “Round Barn,” a watercolor painting by James Lesher.

MUSIC

Singer-songwriter Kate Callahan will headline an Acoustic Brew Concerts show. A Connecticut native, Callahan has toured for more than a decade and invites her audiences to sing and interact at her concerts.

The Centre County Down Syndrome Society hopes to raise at least $25,000 to benefit local services and national programs during the Buddy Walk. The family event features games, music and silent auction and raffle. New this year, the event has a “Talent Tent” with a stage and karaoke machine.
