Good Life

Winter Snowfall

When I awoke this morning

My neighborhood was blanketed in white

While I was soundly sleeping

Snow fell through out the night

As I looked outside my window

The snowflakes floated by

It looked as though confetti

Was falling from the sky

As I go outside to start my car

To work,I have to go

I bundle up to brave the cold

Just like an Eskimo

As I drive along, the pine trees

Have their branches draped in white

The road sparkles like diamonds

In the reflection of my lights

The fields and yards and houses

Look all covered with whipped cream

And the lights inside the windows

Help illuminate the scene

I am thankful that I live here

For some people never know

The beauty of their landscape

All blanketed in snow
