Good Life

Perplexity

Through the looking glass,

A reflection in the mirror,

Is someone with a past,

A past they do not fear.

A past that brought elation,

A past you would rejoice,

In leading a new nation,

In making the right choice.

The wonders of the earth,

The perplexity of things,

For some sadness, others, mirth,

Whichever, there will always be endings.

Think about the right,

Instead of concentrating on the wrong,

Let there be a light,

So you’re vigil won’t be as long.
