Good Life

Summer Night

Lightning flickers

from tiny orbs amid the wood,

igniting my heart.

The sun smiles behind the horizon

just barely radiating

the road outstretched.

Leafy heavens rest above,

rejoicing in their blossoms,

dancing like lovers.

The rushing stream,

cascades over rocks

leaving warmth and gentleness.

For winter is beneath,

absent.
