On the scene: Coaches vs. Cancer reverse car drawing

The Reverse Car Drawing raised over $200,000 to benefit the Bestwick Foundation and Coaches vs. Cancer, and members of the public purchase tickets with a chance to win a new car.

The Reverse Car Drawing raised over $200,000 to benefit the Bestwick Foundation and Coaches vs. Cancer, and members of the public purchase tickets with a chance to win a new car.

The ninth annual reverse car drawing was held at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park to benefit the Bestwick Foundation and Coaches vs. Cancer.

The event was catered by Catering With Style and entertainment included the Penn State Blue Band. A total of 400 tickets were sold at $350 each and the event was sold out, raising more than $200,000 to benefit both charities.

Cancer survivor Christos Rallis was this year’s honoree.
