Centre County Reads has several events tied to book

Throughout February and March, several groups around Centre County will read and discuss Jess Walter’s “Beautiful Ruins,” this year’s Centre County Reads book selection Pick up a copy of the novel at any Centre County library and join a group discussion. All events are free and open to the public.

“Beautiful Ruins” writing contest

• Enter your best writing on your idea of a “beautiful ruin” to win in a number of categories or a $200 grand prize. Entries for the writing contest are due by March 2.
