The Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation hired Amanda Trimmer as outreach and public relations coordinator.
Trimmer will be responsible for building public awareness, engaging volunteers and creating an environment of support for PPFF programs. She has a background in advertising, years of volunteer experience and earned a bachelor’s degree in mass media communications from Denison University.
Nittany Valley Chiropractic and Wellness Center added Julie and Bradley Kulig to its chiropractic staff, which will allow NVCWC to expand its State College and Centre Hall office hours and offer same day appointments and walk-ins. Julie Kulig is a Penns Valley and Penn State alumna.
NVCWC owner Roy Love was recently appointed as a clinical assistant professor of family and community medicine in the Penn State College of Medicine.

Mount Nittany Health hired forensic interviewer Ashley Carper at its Children’s Advocacy Center.
Carper, a Penn State graduate, was the victim services team leader at Family Services Incorporated, where she provided supervision, case management and debriefing to counselor advocates. She will be responsible for conducting child-friendly forensic interviews, in which children are invited to tell their account of alleged abuse or neglect.
MNH also added John Shields to Mount Nittany Physician Group Urology.
Shields earned his medical degree at The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He did his residency in urology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla., where he was selected as chief resident.
