Halloween Activities across the county

• The 2007 Halloween Costume Parade sponsored by Centre Region Parks and Recreation will line up at 6:30 p.m. today at College Avenue and Burrowes Road, on the University Park campus, with the parade stepping off at 7 p.m.



• Most Centre County municipalities have designated Wednesday night as trick-or-treat night. Hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. in Patton, Ferguson, College, Harris and Rush townships and in State College, Bellefonte and Millheim boroughs. Hours will be 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Halfmoon Township. Information on trick-or-treat times in other municipalities was not available Monday.

• Ten local churches are sponsoring “Light the Night” for two hours at Milesburg Fire Hall and Milesburg Assembly of God church from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, featuring skits, games, prizes and food.⍸
