A Milesburg man was killed just after midnight when he was driving too fast on a motorcycle and crashed, according to state police at Rockview.
Ryan J. Dixon, 24, was killed after he was thrown from his Suzuki on Spring Street in Milesburg Borough, state police at Rockview said.
Dixon was traveling north on Spring Street and drove straight off the end of the roadway and struck railroad tracks approximately 60 feet from the dead end, police said. Upon impact with the tracks, Dixon was thrown from the motorcycle and came to rest about 15 feet on the north side of Railroad Street, police said.
Dixon was driving the motorcycle at an unsafe speed, police said.

He was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center where he was pronounced dead due to closed head trauma, according to Centre County Deputy Coroner Debra A. Smeal.
