The state Department of Transportation project to improve safety and ease traffic congestion on Whiltehall Road continues next week, though no work will take place on Monday for the Labor Day holiday.
Work will include water line relocation near Waupelani Drive, curb and sidewalk placement from West College to Research Drive, and excavation and grading near West College and Waupelani.
Drivers should watch for construction vehicles and crews directing traffic between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The state project spans from West College Avenue to South Atherton Street. Ferguson Township continues to work on a similar project on Whitehall from West College to Tadpole Road.
