A guard at the Blair County Prison was booked on drug charges after the warden raised a question about a bag he was carrying at the beginning of his shift Sunday.
The bag was examined at the state police barracks at Hollidaysburg. It contained one 30-milligram Oxycontin tablet, 24 20-milligram oxycodone tablets, five 10-milligram Oxycodone tablets, five 325-milligram acetaminophen tablets, loose tobacco, rolling papers, a lighter and two toenail clippers. Police said that the identification of the pills was based on their markings.
Fred Zigler, of Hollidaysburg, was charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance, among other charges. He was taken to the Blair County Booking Center, but bail had not yet been set late Sunday.
