A woman was cited for retail theft Friday night after allegedly stealing from Wal-Mart on Benner Pike.
State College police said they were dispatched to 373 Benner Pike around 7:30 p.m.
Upon further investigation, police found that a woman stole $85.01 worth of merchandise from the store.
The woman’s name was not released.

While investigating that incident, officer Todd Scholton said that with the help from State Police at Rockview, officers noticed another retail theft while reviewing surveillance videos at the store.
Police said the video showed an unnamed man stealing a laptop computer from the store in mid-December.
No further information was available.
