A man is facing animal cruelty charges after failing to provide adequate conditions for his dogs.
State police at Philipsburg said officers responded to the suspect’s home in Worth Township on Thursday after a report of several dogs tied up outside.
Upon further investigation, police found that three of the dogs’ water bowls were frozen, and one was empty with a chunk of ice on the ground beside it.
A report from police said that according to the law, animals in a person’s care must have access to water regardless of the temperature.
