Philipsburg woman injured Tuesday when SUV overturns on U.S. 322

A Philipsburg woman suffered moderate injuries early Tuesday when she lost control of her SUV on U.S. Route 322 in Rush Township, according to state police in Philipsburg.

Anette C. Salter, 46, was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer eastbound near Reese Hollow Road at 5:57 a.m. when she lost control of the SUV, crossed the road, struck an embankment and landed on its driver’s side, police said.

Emergency crews extricated Salter from the vehicle, and she was transported by Moshannon Valley EMS. Hope, Reliance and Port Matilda volunteer fire companies assisted.
