A Penn State freshman’s death Sunday was a suicide, according to the Centre County Coroner’s Office.
Jack Crean, 18, of Boalsburg, jumped from a crane at a HUB-Robeson Center construction site. Penn State police found his body around noon. An autopsy determined he died from the impact, and a toxicology report is pending.
He graduated from State College Area High School in June and was starting at Penn State. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Koch Funeral Home in State College.
