The Centre Area Transportation Authority will again be providing shuttle services to Penn State home football games this year.
The shuttles begin operation three hours before kickoff and will follow two routes: the downtown shuttle will serve the downtown State College area along Beaver Avenue, University Drive, Easterly Parkway and the section of Atherton Street in between; and the South Atherton shuttle will serve the Hills Plaza parking lot and all South Atherton CATA bus stops.
Shuttles will run continuously until one hour after each game is over.
“The biggest change from last year is the drop in fare from $3 to $1.75,” public relations manager Jacqueline Sheader said. “OnePasses will also be accepted as fare on the game day shuttle, in addition to cash and tokens.”
The Blue and White Loops also provide continuous service within walking distance of Beaver Stadium to downtown State College.
