A woman was injured in a crash at about 5:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of University Drive and South Atherton Street, according to State College police.
Jennifer Nadolsky, of Bellefonte, was traveling northbound on Atherton through a flashing yellow traffic signal at the intersection of University Drive when her vehicle was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Madison Gist, of Pittsburgh.
A pickup truck in front of Nadolsky that turned onto University may have obstructed Gist’s view after she stopped at the flashing red light. Gist said she didn’t see Nadolsky as she attempted to cross the intersection, according to the police report.
Nadolsky was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center complaining of head, neck and leg pain, the report said.
