Pedestrian sent to hospital after being grazed by CATA bus

A pedestrian was injured Tuesday when the passenger-side mirror of a CATA bus struck him in the head, according to a police report.

Jason Prignoli, of New Jersey, was standing on the curb on the east side of the 100 block of North Atherton Street at about 10 a.m. when he was knocked to the ground, the report said.

Prignoli was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center with a head laceration, police said. No further information on his condition was available.
