Passenger injured in Saturday crash in State College

State College police responded to a two-vehicle collision about 8:20 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of South Fraser Street and West Beaver Avenue.

Taeoh Bae, 22, of State College, was stopped on the 100 block of Fraser waiting to turn left onto Beaver, police said. Meanwhile, Kelli Lubinsky, 20, of Douglassville, was stopped on the 200 block of Fraser waiting to go straight through the intersection.

When the light turned green, both cars tried to cross the intersection when Bae hit Lubinsky, police said.

A backseat passenger in Lubinsky’s vehicle, Monica Lubinsky, 51, of Douglassville, hit her head on the rear of the driver’s seat, police said. She was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center by ambulance.
