Autoport ‘Hotel Impossible’ episode set to air Tuesday

The “Hotel Impossible” episode featuring the Autoport Motel in State College will air Tuesday, according to the Travel Channel’s website.

The episode, dubbed “Swinging for the Fences,” was filmed in June and focuses on the 85-room motel’s struggles with foreclosure and its “swinging reputation and lack of management,” the website says.

On the show, hotel “fixer” and host Anthony Melchiorri helps turn struggling hotels into viable businesses, working to improve staffing and management and taking on renovations to the properties.

The show airs at 9 p.m.
